Privacy Policy

Avelune is designed as a private reflection experience. Your onboarding answers, future-self stories, affirmations, manifestation-board entries, selected photos, reminder preferences, and people list are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to an Avelune account.

Photos, microphone, and speech

Photo-library, camera, microphone, and speech-recognition access are optional and requested only when a feature needs them. Selected photos remain in the app’s local data. During spoken affirmation practice, microphone audio is used transiently for Apple Speech recognition and is not saved by Avelune. Apple may process speech according to the user’s device settings and Apple’s policies.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases. RevenueCat helps Avelune determine subscription status and may process purchase history, product identifiers, subscription status, country, and an automatically generated anonymous app-user identifier. Avelune does not receive your complete payment-card details. This information is used for app functionality and subscription analytics, is not used for advertising, and is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Notifications

Reminder preferences are stored locally. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings at any time.

Retention and deletion

Local content remains until you delete it or remove the app. “Delete my data” in Profile removes locally stored Avelune content and preferences. Subscription records maintained by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their legal and operational requirements.

Children and sensitive use

Avelune is a general wellbeing and reflection tool. It is not medical or mental-health treatment and does not knowingly collect information from children through an account system.
